Hydor NRG CO2 System
The Hydor NRG CO2 System is a great product for the beginner to the advanced aquarist. This is because of scalability. The system works from nano tank to 90g and above. Simply replace reactor with one suitable for large tanks and your set. The NRG regulators work with standard refillable co2 tanks.

Cons...
1. Does not work with paintball co2.
The system out of the box is a 24/7 co2 system. Low bubble rate will provide consistent co2 and improve plant growth.
With an additional solenoid (sold seperately) this product can be used in applications with pH controller or used during the photoperiod on a timer. Using current pricing the total cost is still less then the competitor with much better quality from Hydor's product. All of that is hardly needed and running the system 24/7 at low bubble rate produces consistent co2 levels and excellent growth.
The regulator is very sleek and very easy to adjust. Be patient when adjusting the regulator. It takes a few moments to determine output after adjustment.
The bubble counter is made of glass and adds a very nice touch.
The powered reactor is quiet and does a fine job of dispersing bubbles. I use this in my 20L because it fits perfectly in this setup where diffusor would be too close to surface and inline is not possible because of HOB filtration. In my opinion this is the best system you can buy and only "kit" I would suggest spending your money on.
The part # XK4310 "Extendable Adapter for Advanced USA" was used to adapt to refillable co2 tank. This part is included with the CO2 Green NRG - Advanced system. Do not use the washer typically included with co2 tank. The regulator adapter has a built in washer.
Overall I am very satisfied with Hydor products. I feel confident suggesting them to others and giving thier co2 system positive remarks.
CAUTION: Always keep co2 canisters secure in tank stand to prevent disaster and/or damage to regulator. I assume no responsibility for damages or injury due to use of pressuried co2. Safety first.
